Here, culture combines history and contemporary elements, from the Templar Commandery and the Abbey of Port-Royal des Champs, true heritage gems, to the Théâtre de Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines Scène Nationale, the network of 12 media libraries (the largest in the Île-de-France region), and the numerous theaters, cinemas, and concert venues.
Land of Nature
Surrounded by the Haute Vallée de Chevreuse Regional Natural Park and the Plain of Versailles, the quality of life in SQY is characterized by its many green spaces, parks, gardens, ponds, and streams, as well as its leisure island. With 2,500 hectares of farmland, SQY is also committed to sustainable and responsible agriculture.
